Born into a family deeply involved in the Brass Band movement since 1963, and in his early years brought up in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area, Chris Johnston was a member of several Mineworkers Brass Bands, such as Cresswell Colliery, Rossington Colliery, Dinnington Colliery, and Thurcroft Colliery.
Eventually Chris settled many years ago in Milton Keynes.
Now re locating to Scotland, His hobby has always been playing in or conducting brass bands, and he now brings you his radio station so you can listen to the great “Sounds Of Brass”.
